Software Developer PHP in Sofia or remote

You will become a part of an agile project team. As a software developer you will work hands on with scrum masters and product owners and you will implement lean online shop solutions that provide users with a exceptional customer experience.

About the job

• Based on PHP, you and your colleagues design and develop complete shop systems, applications and interfaces for the e-commerce solution Spryker. You also customize existing modules and develop new functionalities and applications. With your solutions, you improve the user experience and ensure the best possible shopping experience.
•   You will work closely with our customers in agile, interdisciplinary project teams.
•   You will support us in the continuous improvement of our processes and in the development of suitable deployment scenarios and frameworks. You will work closely with external experts and our teams.
•   You will play a key role in shaping the establishment and further development of a technology team. Do you like to support frontend development or is the design of interfaces your thing? Here you have the opportunity to find the right role for you and to provide new ideas with your impulses.
•   In PHP development, you like to break new ground and also question the tried and tested. We are happy to give you the necessary freedom!

Requirements

• You've worked with Spryker or Pimcore in an agile development team for 2+ years, and you're passionate about e-commerce.
• A positive, resourceful, and motivated attitude with a learning mindset also loving to share knowledge. From our side we are happy to support you with a variety of trainings, TECH workshops, pair programming, code reviews and much more!
• You are passionate about backend development, and you have already experience in object-oriented development with PHP and relevant frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony, Zend) as well as a high affinity for e-commerce and IoT topics.
• Knowledge of working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB), Redis, ElasticSearch as well as common tools such as Git and Composer as well as IDEs such as PHPStorm. Knowledge of Docker, Twig and Silex is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as fluency in English.

(Senior) Software Developer (m/w/d) PHP Spryker in Sofia
unbefristet in Vollzeit

Gemeinsam mit einem Team aus Entwicklern, Scrum Master und Product Owner setzt du schlanke Online-Shop-Lösungen um, die den Nutzern ein maximales Shoppingvergnügen bereiten. Die Stelle umfasst sowohl Frontend-, als auch Backend-Entwicklung. Schwerpunktmäßig nutzen wir neben PHP auch HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, SASS und SCSS. Vorwiegend entwickeln wir mit GIT und Composer sowie IDEs, wie z. B. Eclipse.

Aufgaben

Auf Basis von PHP konzeptionierst und entwickelst du mit deinen Kollegen komplette Shopsysteme, Applikationen und Schnittstellen für die E-Commerce-Lösung Spryker. Zudem individualisierst du bestehende Module und entwickelst neue Funktionalitäten und Anwendungen. Mit deinen Lösungen verbesserst du die User Experience und sorgst für ein bestmögliches Shoppingerlebnis.
Du gestaltest den Aufbau eines neuen Technologie-Teams maßgeblich mit. Willst du eher in die Frontendentwicklung oder ist das Design von Schnittstellen dein Ding? Hier hast du die Möglichkeit, deine für dich passende Rolle zu finden und mit deinen Impulsen für neue Ideen zu sorgen.
Du unterstützt uns bei der stetigen Verbesserung unserer Prozesse und beim Aufbau geeigneter Deployment-Szenarien und Frameworks. Dabei arbeitest du eng mit externen Experten und unseren Teams, insbesondere aus dem technischen Bereich und E-Business-Consulting, zusammen.
In der PHP-Entwicklung gehst du gerne neue Wege und stellst auch Altbewährtes infrage. Den dafür notwendigen Freiraum gewähren wir dir gerne!

Anforderungen

Du bist ein echter Teamplayer. Einer für alle, alle für einen – das ist dein und unser Motto.
Du hast (idealerweise bereits einige Jahre) Erfahrung in objektorientierter Entwicklung mit PHP sowie einschlägigen Frameworks (z. B. Zend, Symfony, Laravel) und eine hohe Affinität zu E-Commerce- und IoT-Themen.
Zu Projektstarts und bei Sprintwechseln auch vor Ort für wenige Tage bei unseren Kunden zu arbeiten, ist für dich kein Problem.
Du bist kommunikationsstark und sprichst sehr gutes Deutsch. Gutes Englisch ist wünschenswert.
Kenntnisse in PHP 7.4, PHPUnit, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, Twig und Silex oder im Umgang mit gängigen Entwicklungstools wie Git und Composer sowie mit IDEs wie z. B. PHPStorm sind ein Plus, aber kein Muss. Falls noch nicht geschehen, bilden wir dich gerne in Spryker weiter.
