Our Application Management team ensures the smooth operation of our complex digital projects at several diva-e locations. The team supports several technologies in the eCommerce area (e.g. Spryker, Hybris, Intershop), various CMS systems (Bloomreach, First Spirit etc.), complex cloud infrastructures and individual developments.

As a DevOps Engineer, you are part of a diverse, agile team of designers, developers, and product owners. Well connected, you collaborate with our locations across Germany on exciting e-commerce projects for our renowned clients. Your tools include Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI, Ansible, CHEF, and Docker.

About the job

As a DevOps Engineer, you secure our major client's critical infrastructure end-to-end.
You not only implement but also define the strategic direction of network and application security for a major enterprise client.
You lead efforts with Akamai (WAF, EAA), Azure Security, and advanced DNS (UltraDNS, DNSSEC).
You drive Infrastructure as Code, implement cutting-edge CI/CD security, and define long-term roadmaps.
You derive specific service models, implement them and transition them into 24x7 operating models.

Requirements

Collaborative mindset: A true team player who values shared success (“one for all, all for one”) and thrives in cross-functional collaboration.
Technical expertise: Deep knowledge in Akamai (WAF, EAA), Microsoft Azure security (Firewall, NSGs), and advanced DNS (DigiCert UltraDNS, DNSSEC), with a strategic foresight for future security developments.
DevOps & automation skills: Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Professional experience & certifications: Background in ITIL and Scrum environments, relevant cloud certifications (Azure or AWS), and understanding of IT service financials and vendor contracts.
Communication & leadership: Strong presentation and influencing skills, ability to lead laterally, collaborate across teams, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders; fluent in English (German a plus).

Aufgaben

Als DevSecOps & Network Security Architect sicherst du die geschäftskritische Infrastruktur unseres Großkunden ganzheitlich – von Ende zu Ende.
Du setzt nicht nur um, sondern definierst auch die strategische Ausrichtung der Netzwerk- und Applikationssicherheit für einen großen Enterprise-Kunden.
Du übernimmst die Leitung bei der Arbeit mit Akamai (WAF, EAA), Azure Security und fortschrittlichen DNS-Technologien (UltraDNS, DNSSEC).
Du treibst Infrastructure as Code voran, implementierst modernste CI/CD-Sicherheitsmaßnahmen und definierst langfristige Roadmaps.
Darüber hinaus entwickelst du spezifische Servicemodelle, setzt diese um und überführst sie in 24/7-Betriebsmodelle.

Anforderungen

Teamorientierung: Du bist ein echter Teamplayer, dem gemeinsamer Erfolg („Einer für alle, alle für einen“) wichtig ist und der in funktionsübergreifender Zusammenarbeit aufblüht.
Technische Expertise: Fundiertes Wissen in Akamai (WAF, EAA), Microsoft Azure Security (Firewall, NSGs) sowie erweiterten DNS-Technologien (DigiCert UltraDNS, DNSSEC) und ein strategischer Blick für zukünftige Sicherheitsentwicklungen.
DevOps- & Automatisierungskompetenz: Praktische Erfahrung mit Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) und Skriptsprachen wie Python, PowerShell oder Bash.
Berufserfahrung & Zertifizierungen: Erfahrung in ITIL- und Scrum-Umgebungen (idealerweise als Product Owner oder Scrum Master), relevante Cloud-Zertifizierungen (Azure oder AWS) sowie Verständnis für IT-Service-Finanzen und Lieferantenverträge.
Kommunikation & Leadership: Ausgeprägte Präsentations- und Überzeugungsfähigkeiten, Fähigkeit zur lateralen Führung, teamübergreifende Zusammenarbeit und effektive Kommunikation mit technischen und nicht-technischen Stakeholdern; fließende Englischkenntnisse, Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil.
